Just read the previous entry. I was able to do two shows two days in a row, and I took advantage of that to play as much Grant Hart music as I could legally get away with. Hart's music moved me deeply over the years. Some of the songs on
Intolerance are beautiful, and others, particularly the heroin story, "The Main," are heartbreaking.
The covers selections are all good, if nothing particularly special. They're all bands I've played plenty of times, and looking back, I'm thinking I probably should have dug a littler deeper. In my defense, I was pressed for time putting a pair of shows together in a few days and I was more interested in getting the Grant Hart music right.
